We recommend: comfortable light-colored clothing, long sleeves for insect protection, water shoes, swimsuit, hat or cap (NO sunscreen or chemical repellent - they contaminate the river), snorkel mask, towel, and a bag for your trash.

Cell phone signal is limited in San Cipriano. This is part of the nature disconnection experience. Some accommodations have basic WiFi.

The brujitas are small rail carts powered by motorcycles. They are the traditional transport to get to San Cipriano and a unique experience in itself.

Weekends and public holidays are the busiest days, so if you prefer peace and quiet, visit on a weekday.

Yes, we recommend bringing enough cash. In San Cipriano the phone signal is limited and there is not always a card reader or ATM, so cash is the safest way to pay for the entrance, the brujita ride, food and lodging.
